American industrial buyers are particular — and they should be. When you're specifying FRP gratings, cable trays, handrails, or structural profiles for a refinery, chemical plant, or wastewater facility in the US, you need a supplier who understands load ratings, chemical resistance requirements, and the real cost of getting a specification wrong. We've worked with US-based procurement and engineering teams long enough to know the questions they ask — and we come prepared with the answers.
AMROCK is a dedicated FRP manufacturer and exporter in India supplying high-performance fiber reinforced plastic products to clients across the United States. Our export-ready manufacturing facility in Rajkot, Gujarat produces moulded FRP gratings, pultruded FRP profiles, FRP cable trays, FRP handrails, FRP manhole covers, and a full range of GRP structural products — all manufactured to international quality standards.
If you're an engineering contractor, distributor, or procurement team sourcing FRP products from India for US projects — here's what you need to know about working with AMROCK.
Our full product range for the US market - All available with material certifications, test reports, and full shipping documentation:
Standard and custom mesh sizes, load ratings from 1.5 kN to 7.5 kN/m². Resin options: isophthalic, vinyl ester, and phenolic grades.
Corrosion-resistant, non-conductive, lightweight — suitable for chemical, oil & gas, and offshore environments.
Angles, channels, beams, I-sections, square/round tubes in standard and custom dimensions.
Complete systems with top rail, mid rail, kick plate, and posts — configurable to OSHA requirements.
Load-rated B125 to D400. Lightweight alternative to cast iron for industrial and utility applications.
Complete grating, handrail, and structural support packages for industrial platforms.
For applications requiring non-magnetic, non-conductive, or corrosion-resistant structural properties.
The short answer is value — but not in the way that sometimes makes procurement teams nervous. We're not talking about cutting corners on material or skipping testing to hit a price point. We're talking about the structural cost advantage that India's manufacturing ecosystem gives us, passed through to clients who care about quality just as much as cost.
Our FRP grating and profile manufacturing costs in India are significantly lower than equivalent production in the US or Europe — not because we use inferior materials, but because raw material costs, labour, and overheads are structured differently. When you source FRP gratings or cable trays from AMROCK, you get products built to the same specification you'd demand from a domestic supplier, at lower cost..
US projects often have non-standard requirements — custom mesh sizes, specific resin systems for aggressive chemical environments, non-standard panel dimensions. Our in-house engineering team handles custom specifications routinely. We work from client drawings, produce samples for approval, and scale to production without losing dimensional accuracy.
We understand what US importers need: material test certificates, MSDS sheets, packing lists, Bill of Lading, COO, and compliance documentation. Our export team has managed shipments to the US and knows how to prepare documentation that clears customs cleanly.
Every batch of FRP products leaving our facility has full material traceability — resin batch records, fibre specifications, cure confirmation, and dimensional QC records. We don't just build to specification; we document that we've built to specification.
This is a question a lot of international buyers think about before they make their first India-origin purchase — and it deserves a straight answer, not a sales pitch.
India's FRP and GRP manufacturing cost structure is fundamentally different from the US, Europe, or Australia. Raw material costs, skilled labour, and overheads are structured in a way that translates into lower landed cost versus equivalent products from Western manufacturers — without any trade-off on material specification, fibre architecture, or resin system.
The assumption that India-origin means low-tech doesn't hold in the FRP sector. India's composites industry has grown significantly over the past two decades, driven largely by demand from domestic oil and gas, chemical, power, and infrastructure sectors — all of which require properly engineered, certified products. AMROCK's engineering team designs to IS, BS, ASTM, and DIN-referenced standards and produces complete technical documentation with every order.
AMROCK has been exporting FRP gratings, cable trays, pultruded profiles, and GRP structural products to international markets for years. US buyers sourcing from AMROCK benefit from India's established export infrastructure, competitive freight rates to East and West Coast ports, and a manufacturing base that has been supplying to international industrial clients for over a decade. Our export processes — documentation, testing, customs compliance, third-party inspection — are built for international clients, not adapted from a domestic sales process.
Every shipment from AMROCK carries complete material documentation: resin batch records, fibre specifications, cure confirmation, dimensional inspection reports, and third-party test certificates from NABL-accredited Indian testing laboratories. For US projects, we can also coordinate third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or other internationally recognised inspection agencies at the manufacturing stage — giving your procurement team an additional layer of assurance before the goods ship.
We supply sample panels for approval before full orders — and we scale to full container shipments once you're satisfied with the product. There's no minimum order pressure on your first purchase. We'd rather earn a long-term supply relationship than push for a large first order on an unproven basis.
FRP gratings, walkways, and cable trays for upstream and downstream facilities.
Vinyl ester and corrosion-resistant FRP for aggressive chemical environments.
FRP gratings and handrails for treatment plants and pump stations.
Non-conductive FRP solutions for utility and power plant Environments
Salt-spray resistant FRP walkways, gratings, and structural components.
OEM and white-label supply for US FRP distributors and stockists.
A lot of international buyers have had a frustrating experience sourcing industrial products from India at some point — the wrong specification, poor documentation, or a communication breakdown mid-production. We've built our export process specifically to prevent those problems. Here's how it works when you buy from us:
You send us your specification, drawings, or datasheet requirements. Our engineering team reviews within 24–48 hours and comes back with a confirmation of feasibility, resin system recommendation, and any clarifications needed. We don't quote blind — we make sure we've understood the requirement first.
We provide a detailed FOB or CIF quotation with product specification, test certification scope, and lead time. For new clients, we dispatch physical samples — sample panels for grating products, profile sections for structural products — before you commit to a production order. Samples are invoiced and credited against the first order.
Once the order is confirmed, production proceeds with defined hold points — incoming material inspection, in-process dimensional check, and final product testing. You receive QC reports at each stage. If you want a third-party inspector at our facility during production, we coordinate access through SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or your preferred agency.
Before the goods ship, we issue the complete documentation package: test certificates from NABL-accredited laboratories, material traceability records, packing list, commercial invoice, COO, and any project-specific compliance documents. For US importers, we include HTS code classification support, MSDS sheets, and all documentation needed for CBP clearance. We aim for zero documentation surprises at destination customs.
Send us your product specification, quantity, and delivery port. Our export team responds within 24 hours. Reach us at: info@amrock.in
