Oman and Kuwait share a common industrial reality: vast oil and gas infrastructure operating in an environment relentlessly aggressive on conventional materials. High temperatures, salt-laden air, crude oil and gas processing chemicals, and the scale of Gulf petrochemical facilities create corrosion challenges that carbon steel simply cannot meet cost-effectively over a facility's operating life. It's why FRP and GRP composite products have become standard specification material across PDO in Oman, KOC in Kuwait, and the EPC contractors delivering projects across both markets.
AMROCK manufactures and exports FRP gratings, GRP cable trays, pultruded FRP profiles, FRP handrail systems, and industrial composite products to Oman and Kuwait. We have active supply relationships across both markets — shipping regularly to Sohar and Port Sultan Qaboos in Oman, and Shuwaikh and Shuaiba ports in Kuwait.
Vinyl ester and isophthalic grades for oilfield, refinery, and coastal chemical environments.
Non-conductive, corrosion-proof for oil and gas plant cable systems.
For structural, handrail, and access system fabrication in Gulf plant environments.
Complete GRP handrail packages for offshore platforms, refinery walkways, and plant access structures.
Non-sparking, non-conductive; suitable for hazardous area classification zones.
Complete access structure solutions for PDO, KOC, and EPC contractor projects.
UV and chemical resistant safety products for Gulf industrial plants.
We manufacture FRP products capable of meeting PDO (Petroleum Development Oman) and KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) material and technical specifications. Our engineering team reviews client-supplied DEP or company specification documents and provides a compliance statement prior to order.
Oman's southern oil fields and Kuwait's heavy oil production environments involve H₂S exposure and elevated process temperatures. We manufacture vinyl ester resin FRP as standard for these applications — with full resin specification documentation and chemical resistance data with every shipment.
Oil and gas facilities in Oman and Kuwait operate with Zone 1 and Zone 2 ATEX/IECEx hazardous area classifications. FRP's inherent non-sparking, non-conductive properties make it the preferred material for gratings, handrails, and access structures in these zones.
This is a question a lot of international buyers think about before they make their first India-origin purchase — and it deserves a straight answer, not a sales pitch.
India's FRP and GRP manufacturing cost structure is fundamentally different from the US, Europe, or Australia. Raw material costs, skilled labour, and overheads are structured in a way that translates into lower landed cost versus equivalent products from Western manufacturers — without any trade-off on material specification, fibre architecture, or resin system. For PDO, KOC, and EPC contractor projects in Oman and Kuwait, the material cost saving on FRP gratings, cable trays, and walkway systems versus European-origin alternatives is substantial — particularly on large-volume infrastructure packages where composite material constitutes a major project cost line.
The assumption that India-origin means low-tech doesn't hold in the FRP sector. India's composites industry has grown significantly over the past two decades, driven largely by demand from domestic oil and gas, chemical, power, and infrastructure sectors — all of which require properly engineered, certified products. AMROCK's engineering team designs to IS, BS, ASTM, standards and produces complete technical documentation with every order.
AMROCK has been exporting FRP gratings, cable trays, pultruded profiles, and GRP structural products to international markets for years. India has an established and growing trade relationship with both Oman and Kuwait under the India-GCC framework. Indian-manufactured FRP products have been supplied to Gulf oil and gas projects consistently for over a decade — and AMROCK's export track record reflects that. Gulf procurement teams who have worked with Indian FRP suppliers understand what to expect from a well-structured Indian manufacturer: competitive pricing, strong technical documentation, and reliable container delivery to Gulf ports. Our export processes — documentation, testing, customs compliance, third-party inspection — are built for international clients, not adapted from a domestic sales process.
Every shipment from AMROCK carries complete material documentation: resin batch records, fibre specifications, cure confirmation, dimensional inspection reports, and third-party test certificates from NABL-accredited Indian testing laboratories.
We supply sample panels for approval before full orders — and we scale to full container shipments once you're satisfied with the product. There's no minimum order pressure on your first purchase. We'd rather earn a long-term supply relationship than push for a large first order on an unproven basis.
FRP gratings, walkways, and cable trays for upstream and midstream infrastructure.
GRP products for Kuwait Oil Company oilfield and processing facilities.
Vinyl ester FRP for Sohar and Shuaiba industrial complex plants including OQ (ORPIC) and PIC Kuwait.
FRP structural products for Omani and Kuwaiti water authority projects.
Wholesale FRP supply through Gulf-based trading and distribution companies.
A lot of international buyers have had a frustrating experience sourcing industrial products from India at some point — the wrong specification, poor documentation, or a communication breakdown mid-production. We've built our export process specifically to prevent those problems. Here's how it works when you buy from us:
You send us your specification, drawings, or datasheet requirements. Our engineering team reviews within 24–48 hours and comes back with a confirmation of feasibility, resin system recommendation, and any clarifications needed. We don't quote blind — we make sure we've understood the requirement first.
We provide a detailed FOB or CIF quotation with product specification, test certification scope, and lead time. For new clients, we dispatch physical samples — sample panels for grating products, profile sections for structural products — before you commit to a production order. Samples are invoiced and credited against the first order
Once the order is confirmed, production proceeds with defined hold points — incoming material inspection, in-process dimensional check, and final product testing. You receive QC reports at each stage. If you want a third-party inspector at our facility during production, we coordinate access through SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or your preferred agency
Before the goods ship, we issue the complete documentation package: test certificates from NABL-accredited laboratories, material traceability records, packing list, commercial invoice, COO, and any project-specific compliance documents. For Gulf customs clearance, we provide COO endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce, MSDS, and all documentation aligned to PDO and KOC vendor documentation requirements. We ship regularly to Sohar, Port Sultan Qaboos, Shuwaikh, and Shuaiba — our export team knows the paperwork for both ports. We aim for zero documentation surprises at destination customs.
